This cost advantage is also due to the fact that we utilize used components for the rail. This significantly reduces the purchase price. Depending on the situation, the rail can be placed on the inner or outer curve of the stairs. In the former case, more surface area of the stairs remains available for other users, while in the latter case, the rail can serve as a handrail.
If the stairs are spacious, it may be more advantageous to place the rail along the outer curve of the stairs. This option is slightly more cost-effective. If it is important to keep the walkable area of the stairs as free as possible, such as in the case of narrower and steeper stairs, we prefer to install the stairlift along the inner curve. That section of the stairs is not used for walking anyway. Additionally, when the rail is installed along the inner curve, there is no need to remove the handrail.
Our curved stairlifts are also from the brand Otolift. Before delivery, we thoroughly inspect all our lifts and ensure that they undergo necessary revisions in crucial areas. We also ensure that our used stairlifts have clean upholstery, so they look (almost) as good as new. The second-hand stairlifts from 123Trapliften are reliable and safe. They are delivered with full warranty and meet the same safety standards as the new lifts from Otolift.
